Your favorite partisan fairy tale?
I like the one about how the keystone pipe line will lower energy costs for Americans as if all oil doesn't go to a world market per OPEC. What is yours?

that democrats could give a sh!t about the plight of "the poor". their goal is to destroy anything that looks like success.

Pot is harmless and people who want legal drugs actually care about how much we spend to keep it illegal.

Even the world market reacts to increased supply. Eco 101. And OPEC sets the price at the well head. If we are able to decrease our independence on middle eastern oil, the oil doesn't have to shipped 6,000 miles on a tanker, there is less cost built in which can affect prices.
So at the margin, it could decrease prices at the pump.
Nonetheless, I, for one among many, have never said that the reason for Keystone is to reduce prices for Americans at the pump.

I think if you add to the world supply domestically you can, perhaps, start to wean us off of the middle east which would be a huge cost savings in terms of our geo-political expenditures..

It's for our national defense as it takes away our need for foreign oil. Why did the Japanese bomb Pearl Harbor? Because of the U.S. embargo of their (Japanese) need for oil which they have none of it themselves.

That soaring poverty demands more government spending.
That criticism of Democrats is only motivated by racism, misogyny, and other -isms......
That the Second Amendment is only in reference to a "well regulated militia" ala the National Guard.

"Reagan reduced the debt/deficit..."
"Corporations pay income taxes instead of raising prices..."
"Dramatic cuts to government spending will increase GDP..."
"The wealthy don't pay their fair share of taxes..."
"Fewer abortion clinics means fewer abortions..."
There are tons more but these are my favorites.
