Tennessee's search to replace Cuonzo Martin as its men's basketball coach is now focused on Louisiana Tech's Michael White, multiple sources told CBSSports.com on Saturday.

Martin left UT last week to coach at California.

A source told CBSSports.com that UT has informally contacted some "A-list" candidates but that the interest hasn't been mutual. Another source told CBSSports.com that at least one potential candidate expressed no interest mostly because Tennessee's roster is in bad shape given that the Vols are losing four of their top five players from a Sweet 16 team.

One name continues to emerge above the rest in Tennessee's search for a new men's basketball coach. And that name is Michael White from Louisiana Tech.

Several sources have told govols247 the same thing that CBSSports.com's Gary Parrish tweeted a few minutes ago. Other names continue to be mentioned, but White's name has certainly been the most common one.

They hired a football coach from us that was a complete bust a few years back......
