If he's smart, he'll take one of the jobs that is open. You can't know when another job of this magnitude will be open, and you could have a bad year or two and lose your momentum. The old "Bird in the Hand" philosophy is in play here. If he gets offered one or the other or both, he should jump while he has the chance. Remember Mike Newell and Marquette.04-cheers

I dont know. He is loaded for next year and just got a raise to 500k.

I personally think he needs to make the ncaa tournament and win a game.

I'm not connected enough to know if he'll be on their radar or not, but you rest assured Greg Marshall will probably be the first to either accept a job or turn one down, and Shaka Smart will once again be considered. Obviously there will be others that I either don't know or haven't thought about but it will be interesting to see who those two schools will hire, and then there will be vacancies at their schools to fill. The dominos begin to fall.04-cheers

Greg Marshall isn't leaving Wichita State to go to Mizzou. Don't see Shaka making that move either. If they leave it will be to go to a BCS conference that really cares about basketball...not one where it is behind spring football.
