Subject: Tulsa isnt "Mid Major"; They play w/ UCONN in AAC
Jeff,
Your reference to Tulsa as Mid Major is dated. They no longer play in CUSA. Haith will be coaching against Kevin Ollie, Mick Cronin, Larry Brown, Kelvin Sampson, Josh Pastner, Fran Dunphy, etc.
That's not a Mid Major conference.
And here was his response...

They have yet to play a game in that league.
Still a mid-major -- for now.

You my friend are totally delusional. It is not a conference that determines your place in the pecking order, but rather what those teams do in ACTUAL competition. Except for Uconn, and UC, and maybe Temple and Memphis to a lesser extent, this entire conference is MID-MAJOR.
I'm sure national title contender SMU for 2015 would beg to differ Mr. Troll.
NIT (Not In Tournament) runner-up, hardly translates into national title contender, but hey, ecwho fans have never seen good bball unless they were watching UNC or Duke. LOL! Your team is an absolute JOKE.
This kid has to be about 13 years old

Great job BigEast Homer ! Thanks for sticking up for Tulsa & the AAC. I don't know how good of a hire Tulsa made with Haith, time will tell.
I do know that Tulsa stepped up to the plate. 1.85 mil./yr. . for 7 years isn't a mid-major contract.
Tulsa knows it has moved up in basketball & we always expect to compete for conference championships in all sports.

Not trying to stir the pot, with that amount of money and length of contract, I'm surprised Tulsa couldn't have done better.

Red bird is probably either not old enough or smart enough to even go to Louisville.

Probably has been several times under different Aliases. Seems to be a lot of those this past year for several schools. I could be wrong though. Wouldn't be the first time.
