Due to expected bad weather tomorrow, the Knights and Cardinals will play 2 today and 3 over the next 3 days (however it works out weather wise). This series will go a long way in crowning a regular season champion.

Currently UCF is 10-2 and in 1st place in the conf and UL is in 2nd at 7-2. Everyone else has at least 4 losses.

A series win by UCF (plus good end of the season) could lead the AAC to have 3 teams in the regionals this year....that would be a nice statement since only 4 conferences would have more (SEC, ACC, Big12, Pac12).

UCF up 1-0 after 4 innings played in a brisk hour. At this pace they may finish them both up by 10pm. Weather seems to be cooperating at this point.

Louisville ace having a hard time throwing strikes. A well timed 1st inning double play aided the Cardinals.

Cards need to win these next 2. Luckily after the UCF series we would have played the toughest part of our schedule.

UCF needs to st least split these next two to stay relevant for tournament selection imo. Our top 50 record is not good, so yeah. A sweep would be sweet, but a series win is good enough. We still have Houston on the schedule.

8-2 Final. Starting pitchers was in until the last out - wish we would and let him get the CG.

Well at least the Cards are where they belong for the next hour or 2... 2nd place. :0)

RPI dropped to 57 with that 1st win. That was a decent bump. Hope we at least split the next 2 and maybe head to the lower 50's.
