Awful. I always had a theory that Michigan should go to a toll road system. Can't go the wrong way on the toll road because you can't get past the toll gates.

The news reports on this provide a situation that bothers me. He was behind the MSP cars on the freeway, and the MSP was supposedly looking for the wrong way car. The cops hit the shoulder and leave this poor fellow exposed. Something is amiss. Shouldn't they have closed that side of the freeway given the multiple reports called in? MSP has limited patrols but they could have called for assist from local authorities.

It bothers me that the cops bailed and this guy got nailed. May just be that he was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but still wonder if more precautions shouldn't have been taken by MSP.

I was thinking the same thing. Set up spike strips or something. Close that side of the highway.
