NCAA FOOTBALL ATTENDANCE 2013
http://fs.ncaa.org/Docs/stats/football_r...e/2013.pdf

AAC MEMBERS 2014

ECU
UCF
USF
UC
UCONN
MEMP
UH
TEMPLE
TULANE
SMU
TULSA

For those MAC fans only Ohio and NIU barely are over 20,000

Miami averaged 15.935 but without UC game it was 14,601. EMU was just over 4,000.

It strikes as I read through the team by team numbers that we would average $50k if we played a Big Ten schedule at PBS (or had the capacity at Nippert)...more than several current Big Ten schools.

Miami did not in any way average 15k - from the 4 home games I saw them on TV, they were lucky to average 2k for those 4 games - that's including the band, cheer teams, and the football team. UC's numbers may be inflated a little, but not the farce that Miami and other MAC schools have been reporting.

Ideally, our attendance should be the same regardless, because, regardless of who we are playing, we will ALWAYS be playing a UC Bearcats schedule.

Here is a review of Yager Stadium from that website Stadium Journey (they have given good reviews of Nippert in the past). Basically, the author calls Miami out on their claim of 12,000 in attendance by noting that there were no more than 1,000 in attendance that night.

UC is pretty good about reporting actual butts in the seats (hell I am still convinced they underreported the Marshall game in 2007 to avoid fire code violations). It's hilarious seeing Miami try to claim 12,000 fans at any game that UC is not involved in.

X10000000000

With a promotion at work and a better schedule that goes along with it, I will now be able to attend all 4 Saturday home games, gonna try and make it up to Columbus, and will try to schedule off for one of the of the two Friday games. Looking forward to see the BEARCATS play football, and introducing some friends to the experience as well.

I only hope that all those that whine about the "high schools" that we have on our schedule on this site, refrain from regurgitating that attitude in public to the casuals.

Thanks for the link... I really enjoyed the Nippert write-up on that site.
