I'm only posting this because it is one of my favorite places downtown. I love retro video games and I have personally bought a NES, Atari 2600, Genesis, and probably $500 worth of classic games from there. The shop has a lot of star wars/star trek related memorabilia, and other nerd related items. At one time there was a virtual boy and a arcade version of Atari Marble Madness in shop that the owner allowed his patrons to play with. I think both of those have been sold now though. The shop also has random antiques. The shop owners love downtown and the building is absolutely gorgeous. It comes highly recommended from myself and many of my friends.

The mention of the theater's organ brings back memories of going down to the left side front row seat during intermissions to watch Stan Mallote climb down to his seat at the organ and then rise with it to begin playing his selection of "follow the bouncing ball" currently popular & classic songs displayed on the screen as a sing-along with the audience. BTW, Stan's brother wrote the musical arrangement most commonly played with "The Lord's Prayer" as it appears in most church hymnals.

Interesting list, there were some things that I would have added and some I would have left off. I did find some things that I didn’t even know about which was pretty cool.
