Exclamation SBC Conference Bowl Tie-Ins
The purpose of this thread is to deliver clarity on our current bowl situation for 2014, with some added notes discussing 2015 and beyond.

2014 (Primary Tie-Ins)

New Orleans Bowl (SBC Vs CUSA) (New Orleans)
Go Daddy Bowl (SBC Vs MAC) (Mobile)
Camelia Bowl (SBC Vs MAC) (Montgomery)

2014 (Secondary Tie-Ins)

It can get confusing with so many bowls. Someone please list the tie in specifications of each. Specifically, whether or not the SBC is the primary tie in for each bowl. I remember a while back we were secondary to a few bowls, St Pete maybe? I believe the Camelia Bowl has a rotation that doesn't always involve the SBC. The rules about placing the champ etc. The differences make for a complex bowl situation for our league, but I find it interesting. So who's got info they want to share? I'll update this thread with the goods when they come in.

Dates, locations and TV ratings might be good info as well. Where would you want to go? I'd love to try out the new citrus bowl (looks like 2015 now) as I've already been to New Orleans twice, and Mobile once. Montgomery is less than an hour away.

This is lookiing better and better. My goal is for EVERY Sun Belt team who finishes 7-5 or better to have a bowl to go to. If some 6-6 teams get in too I am ok with that too.
