If ATL wins, Washington will make the ECF. In other words, Miami is the only team who will beat Washington. Better?

I need to see how the first round plays out in the West, but I can see Portland making lots of noise too.

They're 8-8/7-9 eevry year (exactly as the NFL has designed it).

Any Bobcat fans left?

We'll be taking a nap for the next week or so.

Nope, because they are officially the Hornets now. 03-nutkick

Lebron definitely needs a nap after all the crying. Honestly, he complains on every call that goes against him. He is an amazing talent but it really takes from his game.

Between Lebron & Wade, they cry & complain more than any 2 players I've ever seen. They get all the calls as it is... it's like Roy Williams & Coach K complaining about calls. Nonsense. All Dwayne Wade has to do is set foot in the paint and it's going to be a foul... period. Had Big Al been healthy for this series, they'd be going to Miami for Game 5. Miami had no answer for Al... hell, nobody has an answer for Big Al when he decides to take over a game.

Oh well. It was a good season! Now it's time for a return to the HIVE!!!

You haven't been watching the Pacers then.

Anyways, enjoy the rest of the play-offs.

Lebron was never really that bad about complaining until he teamed up with Wade. They are both right there with Pierce in my book.

You got a sweep but in no way did you actually dominate any game other than game 3.

RE: OT: NBA Playoffs
Half the series are tied 2-2, and I'm starting to buy into the "most exciting first round ever" talk.

In the East, we were robbed of a better Miami-Charlotte series because of Al Jefferson's injury, and we got to see Indiana combust on the biggest stage. I think the Pacers are headed towards a ugly first round exit and a turbulent offseason. On the other hand, we could be seeing two really good backcourts of the future in Wall/Beal and Lowry/DeRozan. The Nets have an aged roster that won't hold together for much longer, and the Bulls are doing what they can despite missing Rose again. Basically, most of the East is a mess. I'll say Heat over Wizards in the ECF.

In the West, there's a little too much parity. I can't take all of these good games. I've still got OKC as the favorite if they can get past Memphis, who is a matchup nightmare for them. I was starting to think that the Clips could make a run, but this scandal could prove to be too big of a distraction. The Rockets are getting outcoached badly, and I wonder if McHale will be able to keep his job if they lose tonight. I don't know what's going to happen in the Texas series. The Spurs and Mavs look evenly matched, not like a 1 vs 8 at all. My WCF WAG is OKC over Portland.

You can't really say that because for all any of us know, the Heat were cruising for much of game 1, 3 and 4. There were some tenseful moments in games 1 and 4 but certainly not 48 minutes worth (or even close).

Well maybe the Heat should have taken them seriously. A seasoned team like the Heat against the Bobcats should have won by at least 15+ every game. Therefore, the Bobcats kept it close every game except game 3.

Why? What difference does it make if you win by 10, 11 or 15+; no bonus points are offered.

I think we learned our lesson the night James wore himself out scoring 61 against the 'Cats. The Heat were barely a .500 club the remainder of the season. No, staying fresh is much more valuable than margin of victory. This is their 4th straight year of making this run, I think they know best when to throttle down and when they can cruise.

RE: OT: NBA Playoffs
Come on...All that matters is winning each series, whether it's a 4-0 sweep like the Heat over outmatched Bobcats, or 4-3. Likewise, the point differential is, as well, inconsequential and quite frankly, an invalid argument to make a point. All that matters is to win the game...and then the series.

At any rate, as pretty much every series so far demonstrates, anything can happen in the playoffs.

Go Heat!

Have you seen Dirk and his constant complaining and the fouls he gets for someone touching him? Sure LBJ and Wade complain but Dirk is right with them.

That French guy from SA looks like a Brazilian soccer player the way he flops around the court at the slightest brush. 05-stirthepot

The only person who may get more calls than Wade is James Harden. The NBA really wants Harden to be good because his beard is marketable.
