Trojans swept at Lafayette
Lose 6-3. Trojans back to booting the ball again. Commit three errors. Attendance at Lafayette for today's game 3,518. Yesterday's attendance 4,439. Friday's attendance was 3,817. Total attendance for the three games was 11,774. It's unbelievable for a Sun Belt team I'd guess. I doubt if we'd draw 1,500 for the season, but when you're 13-20 and 3-12 in the conference, you're not likely to draw many more than a few parents and girl friends. We're now two games behind 9th place Georgia State and three games behind 8th place Troy.

The remaining conference schedule:

8th place Troy at home

4th place Western Kentucky on the road

5th place UT-Arlington at home

3rd place Texas State on the road

2nd place ASU at home

Well, the fat lady isn't singing yet, but she must be practicing, because I think I'm hearing a humming sound. They've definitely dug the old familiar Trojan hole for themselves.

Your summary is right on. Pretty sad. Will still go to some games and hope for the best. Was hoping they could pull of one against ULL, but it is really what I expected. Got to cut down on the errors.

Here's an idea. Get rid of baseball and initiate Rugby or Lacrosse. From there would be a natural transition to football. Yeah. Go Trojans. Undefeated in football for over half a century.04-cheers

Isn't lacrosse the game where they carry a butterfly net? How is that a natural transition to football? Maybe a natural transition to butterfly collecting. Rugby I might see as a kin of football, but not lacrosse.

Doc, DollarBill or maybe Pappy, or anyone who is or was a western movie fan might know the answer to this trivia question. Who was the western star that was a great lacrosse player from Canada? He is a member of the Hall of Great Western Performers at the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City(commonly referred to as the Cowboy Hall of Fame)and has a star on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame.

You guys should start Rugby. We need more instate OOC teams to beat 106-0. Arkansas wont play us anymore after that beating...so we had to beat Texas A&M 102-0 instead.
