MyBB Aki Collins a finalist for TSU job
Looks like Aki is one of the lead candidates for the Tennessee State head coach vacancy.

Apparently that's a false rumor.

Leroy from Rivals stated that Aki texted him to say it wasn't true...

I can't imagine that TSU pays their head coach as much as we pay our 1st assistant. I doubt they get inside $100k of what Aki is pulling.

Not sure if Aki applied or not, but the Collins with the most buzz around the opening is Brian Collins; Coach for Columbia State. Dana Ford, assistant at Illinois State, is the likely candidate.

TSU should go after Stan Heath...took Kent State to the Elite Eight...Arkansas and USF to NCAAs

Brian's a good coach...with a couple of REALLY good players for 14/15...

RE: Aki Collins a finalist for TSU job
TSU stopped taking applications for the job on March 31, was talking to an alum about the job, some interesting names have applied but I did not here about Aki's name coming up, one the people I heard applied for the job is Drew Maddux from CPA, he definitely knows how to recruit, but I think they want college experience.

I wonder if a question on the TSU head basketball coach application was "Chain or Pistol?"

You are not right for that.

Nolan Richardson III wasn't right for that!

Dang... I didn't know he had died in 2012. I feel bad now.

But still, how you gonna pull a gun on your assistant? How your assistant gonna pull out a chain on you?

NRIII beat out Coach Finch for the job. I wonder if Coach Finch's health would have turned out differently had he gotten the job. Would he have gotten more medical attention before getting started?

I know one thing. NRIII was a cluster**** for TSU.

I think Coach Finch's health was in decline during his tenure at Memphis..dunno if it would have helped or not
