RE: Basketball Transfer List 2014 Edition
In the interest of Full disclosure - The recent total lack of class by the Ozone, including attacking players on Twitter, Putting the names of their parets with snide insults in the section cheat sheet, .... is something that a lot of Ohio fans and former ozoners have told me is embarrassing.

It will probably pass when the current chuckleheads running the section graduate and some responsible kids end up in charge of the section.

As a group they are damn impressive in how well organized they are and how they turn out. Recent behavior aside they are easily one of the best fan groups in the Conference.

Not fair. If Buffalo's dirt sheet gets to be posted, we need to see them for the other 7-10 MAC schools that played at Ohio.

All in good fun...unless it turns ugly of course.

RE: Basketball Transfer List 2014 Edition
There's a fine line between home field advantage and tastelessness. I don't know where it exactly is, but I usually say "they're in college, let them have fun." A school like Miami could use a bit of rowdiness to get the team going. There's also a point where I say "that's just wrong," like when some students kept chanting the name of an opposing player's dead relative (at Oklahoma State I believe, not sure about that).

there was an absolute moron on the ozone twitter feed for a while, no excuses there. The Ozone can be a bit crude at times but do try to stay within bounds. Unfortunately when there is weak leadership some of the rogue chants within the student section don't always get dealt with effectively. Point being, if things are said that cross a line by a few knuckleheads its not sanctioned or condoned by the student organization.

Updated to include incoming EMU transfer Jerome Hunter from Alabama A&M. Changed outgoing NIU transfer JJ Cravatta's destination to Illinois-Springfield. Added incoming Ohio transfer Chandler Thomas from Grambling State. Added outgoing Akron transfer Nick Harney to Fairmont State. Added incoming Kent State transfer Craig Brown from Rutgers.

Out of the transfers with known destinations, nearly half (5 of 11) are going to other D-I programs. I don't have the numbers, but I am pretty sure that's better than previous years.

Auburn SG Dion Wade transfers to Miami, he'll be eligible for the 15-16 season with three years of eligibility remaining. He was a McDonald's All-American nominee in high school, playing at Findlay Prep in Nevada with offers from UCLA, USC, and San Diego State (among others). He also had knee surgery this summer but from what I've read he's recovering well.
