A split squad today, as a handful of athletes went to UTEP and a few women traveled to Austin.

Texas Invitational

Long Jump

1. Funmi Jimoh 6.64 meters (21' 9½")

This moves Funmi to #2 in THE WORLD this year!!

Triple Jump

1. Daisy Ding 12.13 meters (39' 9¾")

Ding has a better mark this season. She is #5 in the conference.

4 x 100 meter relay

3. RICE (Martin, Sutherland, Knighton, McCoy) 46.35

Not their best of the year.

200 Meters

19. Eboni Sutherland 24.64 (w +4.6)
21. Tyneisha McCoy 24.84 (w +3.4)
24. Precious Knighton 25.03 (w +4.6)

No improvements.

UTEP Invitational

Women's Pole Vault

1. McKenzie Johnson 4.10 meters (13' 5¼")

This mark ties her season best. Johnson is 1st in C-USA.

Men's Long Jump

7. Scott Filip 7.22 meters (23' 8¼")
10. Justin Gross 6.91 meters (22' 8")

Filip moves up to #7 in the conference with this effort. He competed in many events at UTEP, so as to get ready for the Decathlon. He is the C-USA leader in the Dec this year (barely).

Men's Javelin

2. Evan Karakolis 67.49 meters (221' 5")

Karakolis, who has a better throw this season, lost his C-USA lead in this event to Joshua Cox (La. Tech) who won with a mark of 69.61 meters (228' 4").

Men's Pole Vault

1. Chris Pillow 5.30 meters (17' 4½")

Pillow already had a 5.50 meter vault this season.

Men's 110 Meter Hurdles

2. Filip Drozdowski 14.14

This mark by Drozdowski moves him from 5th to 4th on the C-USA list.
