Kevin Ware to Georgia State
Don't see why the NCAA would allow him to be eligible immediately, but if they grant his waiver we can just give GaSt next year's regular season title right now. We just need to finish 2nd or 3rd to get in the opposite bracket.

Western moves out and Ga State just slides in to take their place as our dominant team. What happened to the weak SBC we were going to dominate?04-cheers

I never heard anyone, no even the homers here say we were going to dominate the men's side. I do recall someone(was it you Doc)that said we were going to dominate the women's side when Middle left. We didn't do a very good job of that this year.

But notice that GSU has not recruited anyone dominant yet. Transfers and coach's son.

In the long run GaSt will not dominate this league. In the short run, one or two more years, they might.

I guess it matters little how you get the good players, as long as you get them. But, he may be running out of sons.

I seem to recall some saying that with Western and Middle moving out, our men's team would be able to win the league. I don't recall saying we'd dominate the women's side, although I think we'll always be one of teams contending for the post season bids. But in all fairness, I don't recall what I had for breakfast this morning.04-cheers

I don't know if I said it, but I'll say it now. I think we'll dominate the women's side for the foreseeable future.

We stand corrected. In any event, it's obvious that Georgia State is primed to become the apex team of the Sun Belt for the next 3-5 years at the very least.
