His father passed away around that time last year, but he was a strong candidate.

The stories that went around about Cyp (that I heard 3rd hand from a few sources) is that he was always dissatisfied with his salary and complained incessantly and tried to recruit other people to complain on his behalf and played politics with other assistants and even players to try to get them in his corner to give him more leverage to use to get more money. Then he gets a huge raise, and almost immediately leaves with an "f all of ya'll, you can all kiss my @ss" on his way out of the door.

Great recruiter, supreme a-hole and terrible team guy. At least that's the word on the street (again, this is 3rd hand so someone with real connections would probably correct some of the particulars but that's the essence of it).

They should hire Tigerscane... I hear he's very qualified at X's and O's...
