Another little surprise that came after the game is James Sample committed to play for us and is eligible immediately. Sample is a safety (big position of need this year) that was a former 4-star recruit and US Army All American. He played at Washington before transferring to JUCO. Big get!

Shakin' in my boots. Still don't think black endzones is a good look. Is that a UL color or just the black fade schools have gotten into the last 5-10 years?

My guess would be that on THU, OCT 30th the Seminoles will get a real good look at those black end zones - facing them, not with their backs to them.

I think the Black End zones look great. Maybe the cards will emphasize the Black in their uniforms more this year as well.

Yes, black is a school color and we are wearing an all black alternate this year with black helmets. If I had to guess, we'll probably wear them for FSU funny enough. And another oddity about black, it's technically our primary school color simply because they list them alphabetically.

The Black Endzones came in this past year-(2013) when the new Field Turf was installed.

Not gonna lie. The only UL home game I remember watching was UCF. And I didn't watch the middle part because I thought it was going to be a blowout. Just didn't notice the black then. Didn't know it was an actual school color either. Just thought it was red (whichever shade you use) and white.

Yeah we are special like that; unlike most schools who try to use black to be cool, it's kinda one of our primary school color.

...and I'm going to go out on a limb and say our tango with FSU will be a severely HIGH scoring game.

The uni's look good, but I wouldn't mind seeing Louisville removed from the front for the font hasn't been right for some time. I think either the initials UofL or just the L like on the back would be sufficient enough for the front of the jersey. I like the traditional ones the best with out the names for the jersey's that were worn for the Spring game looked awesome even though they were practice jerseys, but they were clean and looked very traditional IMO.
