RE: Big Mama
And the diet part is just not eating like a pig. You don't have to finish the pizza by yourself.

It has nothing to do with laziness. It has to do with diet and lifestyle.
Oh ok. Thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking that you had to diet and exercise to lose weight, which includes your lifestyle, and in order to do it, I was thinking that it was pretty much a lost cause if you were lazy... So now I know that you can be lazy and still diet and exercise. Wish I would have known a few months ago.

Diets don't work. Sure, you might lose some weight but unless you change your lifestyle, you are simply going to gain the weight back plus more.
There is a reason why I am the fitbud. Because I know the way to stay slim is to change your life. A diet doesn't do that.

Exactly. Lots of people eat until they're full, and then keep eating because the food tastes good. Control your hunger and you can control your weight.

of course it has to do with being lazy, if you are lazy with your diet choices and lazy regarding exercise, well there you go.

I disagree. If you know what to eat, you can eat as much as you want as many times as you want.

Yeah right. I haven't even started my normal exercising yet, I've just done some running or walking an hour or two per week until I get to my desired weight. So around the 1st of March, I was 239 lbs, now I'm at 220 lbs, and that's basically just from dieting, nothing else. 5 or 10 more pounds and I'll begin my intense exercising so I can get back to my desired mass... Diets definitely work. Especially when you start by not eating for 48 hours, it shrinks your stomach and you can't eat as much.

You can eat cheeseballs and biscuits too, as long as you exercise...

Tell me about it brother. I am trying to lose a few myself. I have been hiking about three times a week and have cut down on my sugar intake. I recommend getting one of these and have at least one a day as a meal replacement.

Now you are talking. Using one of those can be very helpful. I use one for my breakfast every morning.
Protein shake for breakfast, low glycemic lunch and what ever I want for dinner.
Works for me.

It has nothing to do with laziness. It has to do with diet and lifestyle.
All of which is changeable with determination and will power!

The Kale, spinach, broccoli are always in season in Oklahoma stores. I alternate on the fruits. I buy a huge bag of flaxseeds that will last me a while and I have never had any issues finding almonds or walnuts.

You keep up with your normal routine of exercising. When I was in shape before I got an office job 4 years ago, I ate junk food all the time and always stayed in shape...

Once my GF gets finished with this semester of college, we'll be going down to Arthur Teague everyday after work to run 4 miles... That's when I'll begin my extreme exercise whether I've reached 210 or not...

Good to hear man. I really need to get with it as well. Summer is coming up.
My problem is diet. I love stuff like biscuits and gravy, fried everything, beer and sweet tea. It's so hard to stay away from that stuff.
That is why I bought that nurtibullet.

The more exercise you get, the more latitude you get with the crap you eat.
I have the scale and the blood work to back up that statement.
