RE: Who is ready for the new 24?
Based on the previews for the season finale, it appears Pres. Heller is going to kick the bucket, anyway, or come close to it. I imagine the letter for Jack's full pardon is on it's way tele-electronically. (After all, this has all happened in the same single day, mind you!!)
Boudreau is toast, so now Audry and Jack can finally get back together in a new season (I presume).
Right now, Jack's gotta stop WWIII from happening and he'll need Chloe's help to pull it off!
LOVE THIS SHOW!!

Yes, Jack has to stop the Russians, prove to the Chinese that we did not intentionally attack their aircraft carrier and catch/kill the rogue Chinese agent. And if that isn't enough, be able to provide the President with some dignity after the day's horrendous events. There is probably still some PR to do with the UK because of the drone attacks as well.
I'll need a nap after that!

RE: Who is ready for the new 24?
Great episode, but left a little let down at the ending. I guess because of the show's promo that showed Jack and Chloe walking through rummages of cars and buildings while Jack was screaming and firing his pistol that it might go out like that, sort of like the Sopranos.
But now we have to figure out how Jack will escape the Russians. I am sure there will be another season, the 12 episodes were perfect.
I wonder if Jack could ever become President in the way Jack Ryan did in the Clancy novels?
