I appears that Illinois State has 3 leaving this year. And you can add one that was kicked off the team midseason. Add that to last years total and I think that brings us to 9 guys in two years leaving the Redbird program under Muller. This could be just a new coach and the turnover that comes with it, or it could be something more. Muller is a young coach with no HC experience coming into ISU and he's essentially learning on the job.

With that said, he's taken a number of risky kids and we'll have to see how that plays out. Middlebrooks was dismissed, Lofton was essentially run off. Hawkins has a history of being flaky and having academic issues so we'll see if he's even eligible next year. I think ISU has the potential to be one of the top programs based on support and money available to them, but only time will tell if Muller is the guy to get them to that spot.
