But you'd consider liberty? Hmm

Tailgating is allowed at Liberty thank you very much 04-cheers Red solo cup my friend...

has that changed? we were told by Liberty employees in 2009 (or whenever we played that game in the downpour) that tailgating was not allowed. pretty sure that's why we had our "tailgating" at the local Applebee's/Chili's, whichever it was.

Yes, tailgating has been allowed for a number of years now. Flames Club members get preferred spots but you come on a Saturday now and will see pop up tents along the bookstore lot and North Campus lot.

Dry tailgate tho?

Yes, however if you use solo cups and don't have anything (bottles/cans) out in the open you will be fine. Many Liberty fans will probably partake with you.

RE: Spring Game
I tailgated there for both the downpour game and the winning fg game, as the LU poster said, we simply used cups and had no issue. We were very close to the stadium with a handful of other JMU fans and many LU fans all around. The only problem we had was with the attitude of some LU fans who were late arrivers and were pretty rude in wanting us to make room for them to park all while there was still plenty of parking at that moment.

ROFL. Students around in the second half. Hilarious.
