Good pick-up if he can stay on the field. Of course with Petrino's reputation of being lax on drug testing that may not be as big of a problem in Louisville as it was in Athens.

Clemons was suspended for the Clemson game to open last season for violating UGA's drug policy. He was suspended for the Gator Bowl and was to be suspended for three games in 2014 for a second violation. Rumor has it his dismissal was for a 3rd violation, as that is UGA's policy While there are many, many things to bash UGA on you have to give them credit for having one of the toughest drug policies in the country.

even if petrino is lax on drug policy, I don't think that jurich will let drug tests go (see chane behanan).

His Grandfather let the cat out of the bag...

The Louisville football team is expected to host former University of Georgia strong safety Josh Harvey-Clemons - a one-time five-star recruit - on a visit this week, and his grandfather told InsideTheVille.com that he has already made up his mind that's where he wants to transfer.

"He's planning on attending Louisville," his grandfather, Woodrow Clemons, told the site (subscription link). "Louisville made him an offer and he's planning on attending. He'll redshirt this year and have two years of eligibility."

Chane's problem wasn't weed though...don't believe everything you read. I know for a fact Luke Hancock smokes like a chimney.

If that's the case then why did Petrino earn the reputation at Louisville the first time? Wasn't Jurich his boss then too?

I don't recall any problems Petrino had when he was here the first time. There may have been an incident or two, but that's about it. After Petrino left and Steve Kragthorpe failed miserably, taking an Orange Bowl team that went 12-1 and 18 returning starters and going 6-6 his first year, Jurich was on a smear Petrino campaign to cover up for his buddy Krags. Everyone knew the truth though in Louisville.

Petrino didn't have problems when he was here. When Klusterthorpe replaced him and started losing games, he started pointing fingers at the previous regime and blaming him for having to "clean up a mess", throwing players and coaches under the bus to make it look like he was left with problems to fix. It didn't take long to realize he was just an incompetent fool who was destroying our program and pointing fingers at everyone but himself the entire time.

Hell KrackHead ran off half the Football team before the season even started. Guy even thought He could recruit Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas and let the Other schools have Florida. A total Loser of a Head Coach.

Also Krackhead wore Kackies on the sidelines ........................ Who does that ?

I'm not defending HWSNBN but Petrino was pretty lax when it came to drug testing. He made sure players went to class and kept their nose clean publicly (i.e. they weren't getting arrested), but he really didn't do much when it came to punishing players for smoking weed.

Now I'll have to cheer against Louisville until he begins his inevitable post-UGAg post-"collegiate" career at Wal-Mart.
