Are there really only 2 Owls in The Show right now?
There is an article on the BA website this morning listing the number of players in MLB listed by conference and by school. According to the list Rice only has two players in The Show. Is that accurate? I thought we had more than that, although some of those guys could be playing AAA right now.

Well, after Cingrani and Rendon who else is there?
Savery, Luetge, and Holt are all in AAA with the Athletics, Mariners, and Red Sox respectively according to Fangraphs, although it appears Holt was called up a few days ago to replace Middlebrooks.

Holt had a literal "cup of coffee" this week before the Sox signed Ryan Roberts and sent Brock back down to Pawtucket

Thanks for that news. I tuned in to the Red Sox game just in time to see Holt have a ten pitch at-bat that ended with an RBI single.

Holt and Rendon (HR) have the only RBIs for the Red Sox (vs O's) and Nats (vs Cards), respectively, at this point in each game

Now Brock gets an infield hit on a close play that was reversed via replay. O's announcers have been very positive in their comments about him

Heard a scout say today that Jared Gayhart is now pitching at AA but would be in the bigs by the end of the year.

Was at the Sox tonight and Holt was quite the fan favorite for his effort plays in the cold, miserable weather! Good to see an Owl out there.
