I do not agree.

There's nothing finer than an ice cold Shiner.

Agreed. I am more of a Fat Tire guy, though.

Being a USM guy, I would of thought Lazy Magnolia would be your beer of choice. I love their Southern Pecan....if I can find it I immediately make some oysters rockefeller to go with it.

I love Southern Pecan.. And the Jefferson Stout if you can find it.

But I was just doing the rhyming with the "nothing's finer than.."

Actually, I have only met a few beers I didn't like.. The list is short, but it's understandable why, 04-cheers

One you've got to try if you find yourself in New Orleans (only place I found it).. It's a NOLA Brewing beer called Flambeau Red.. Nice beer for a good hot summer day.. It's seasonal though..

I had several Southern Pecan's when we played Charleston Southern in football last season. We had dinner at Magnolia's and the bartender recommended it. I can recommend both the beer and the restaurant. We are playing in the Charleston Classic Basketball Tournament next season so it would be a great opportunity to enjoy all of the above.

Magnolia's is a fantastic restaurant. Will have to try the Southern Pecan next time I down there.

Shiner Bock is a good one. Haven't had Southern Pecan, but it sounds like something I'd like to try.

I like Hopitoulas IPA from New Orleans, and Heiner Brau Kolsch from Covington, LA. Also love the Southern Pecan and Southern Gold from Lazy Magnolia in MS.
