CBS Sportsline article - Jermaine Lawrence
His picture is currently on the main men's basketball page at sportsline.com

Check out these five breakout players to watch for next season in college basketball:

Jermaine Lawrence, Cincinnati: If the Bearcats want to reach the NCAA Tournament in 2015, they need a major jump out of Lawrence. Cincinnati will graduate both Titus Rubles and Justin Jackson up front and the 6-foot-9 Lawrence is primed to step in to a starting role on the baseline as a sophomore. The skilled forward battled injury and consistency issues this past season as a freshman and only averaged 2.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 15.0 minutes. Lawrence will need to triple that level of production if the Bearcats are to reach the field of 68 for the fifth consecutive year under Mick Cronin. It says here he's more than up to challenge.

I think 9-10 pts would be reasonable expectations out of Lawrence next year. Going to need about 5 guys around double figures next year. Shaq, lawrence, caupain, johnson and another

Him and Shaq must BE ASSERTIVE! Plus it might help if Mick doesn't wait until his senior year to work on his offense haha.

Lawrence needs to realize that he is not a perimeter player. 70 percent of his shots this year were two point jumpers, and he hit those at a 22 percent clip. He needs to live 10 feet and in next year. simply inverting his shot profile would go a long way towards making him an excellent offensive player

This sounds like the revelation that went off in JJ's head this past off-season needs to go off in Jermaine's head now.

Yeah, Mick needs to fire up the sportVU (or whatever system UC has) print off the shot chart and have the same conversation he had with Justin Jackson.
