I would like to see Murry get the Marshall job. He's been in purgatory long enough.

The one ETSU guy on this site doesn't think very highly of him

Murry was one awfully good defensive coach when he was an assistant at UAB.

He also had some pretty good assistant coaches when he was head coach.

I live the idea. About Davis I doubt Mackin would go for allowing Davis to be a part of it. No love lost there.

I'm willing to bet that neither one of those schools would want anything to do with playing "neutral site" games against UAB and Marshall. Neither one of those coaches has a solid grip on his job, and there is absolutely no benefit to playing Marshall away from home right now.

And lets not be shy, lets get UCLA and Memphis involved. There's enough potential star-power here that it would get ESPN involved and these teams interested. And it would go well with the cancer week promo they do with Jimmy V.

I can read. I'm just saying how I think they would look at it. You could still benefit cancer research having a tournament at Ole Miss or Arkansas too.

I love that idea

A good idea should not be blocked by individual differences. This good idea should be no different. Get the available teams and their coaches into the classic and grow it from there.

Good idea, but doubt it's ever happen for a multitude of reasons..
