Yes!!!!

I've never understood not pulling for a conference that your program spent a decade + in there are lots of very good fans here. I still stop by just to check on old friends and I'm always treated warmly by the old guard.

I'll be rooting for y'all as well.

I will pull for USM as I always have, u less we play each other of course. I like seeing Rice do well and UTEP (would to continue playing in basketball) To be honest beyond them I just have never followed to rest of the conference that closely, never pulled against conference teams unless it helped ECU, OOC always wanted to see wins.

As a Monarch I will always pull for the ECU.

This was pretty much how I felt about ECU before the move up. Now, it's difficult to feel exactly the same, but I still feel more sympathy than I do to Tulane, USF, UCF, etc.; A lot of the other AAC schools have just had everything handed to them and have still managed to turn it into utter failure on the field of play. Oh, and there was always an unconcealed disdain for USM... a school with good sports and better academics than most of its peers.

If y'all dominate the AAC, they may run off and form a "United Athletic Conference" or something, but good memories do count for something.

Best of luck to all of the schools that have left CUSA. You are where you want to be and there is nothing wrong with that.
