I understand that none of us here, except for Mach, Tom, and a few others, like Obama. That being said, everyone here who lonelytugs to the memories of Reagan, should be pretty upset with themselves that they prefer a "former" communist over Obama.

Frankly I wish Obama were even less effective. He's already gotten way too much done for my liking.

Being worthless would be an improvement.

I don't think any of us prefer a communist over Obama. I think what most of here believe is that Putin puts forth strength, determination, and a "don't f**k with me" attitude and Obama doesn't have any of those qualities. Face it, Obama comes across as a wuss, Putin doesn't. Many Russians are proud of their leader, many Americans are embarrassed by theirs.

Right-wingers are fascinated by Putin because he represents where they're going. They can't win elections anymore without rigging the system, and that's not going to last much longer. I'd rather someone with the composure of Putin be electable here. Unfortunately, our rotted culture will only produce female and metrosexual leaders for the foreseeable future. Hell even Mitt Romney spends more time on his hair than most most women.

Everyone needs to lighten up. Of course Putin is an a$$ and nobody wants him as our leader.
