meh...all this preseason hype is just that, hype. If this kid starts lighting up our opponents next year on the field THEN we can get all giddy about him.

He's a five star recruit. #1 HS QB in the country. Offered as scollie by every National Title winner\contender the past decade. Excuse me if I don't share your nihilism.

Bearcats#1, IIRC you live out in Missouri and I am guesing you didn't catch the Spring Game. Gunner looked pretty damn good out there. Gunner bares a striking physical resemblance to Brendan Kay, but only with a stronger arm. He also appeared to carry himself very well as well. When the coaches pulled him out after the half he was standing by the coaches with a headset on (talking to Coach Hinshaw I imagine) and supporting his teammates.

while i am not excited about the home football schedule,I am very excited to watch gunnar sling it all over the yard!!!

I hope you guys are right....but just because he torched our defense in a spring game doesn't mean he's the next great thing either. But again, I hope you guys are 100% dead on with this kid. Would love to see him light up tO$U.
