Nice to see another local, Kevin Banks from Toledo Scott commit to the Rockets.

OL Cameron Bell stands at 6'8" and weighs 370 lbs. My oh my, that is one big dude.

RE: 2015 Recruiting Thread
Per Rivals.com, Toledo has 10 commitments for class of 2015. 5 of those 10 are offensive linemen.

9 out of the 10 are right here from Ohio, with the lone out-of-stater from Pennsylvania. Good thing Ohio has a lot of high school football talent.

RE: 2015 Recruiting Thread
Toledo is making a conscious choice to recruit Ohio very hard this year. Last year we didn't recruit Ohio that well so we are making up for it in a big way!!!

UT cancelled the traditional June MI senior one day camp in favor of another Ohio camp this year.

Is it really necessary to have 7 OL commits in one class? Well, we'll find out soon enough as the Rockets picked up a verbal commitment from Bryce Harris out of Akron Firestone just last night. 6'4" 275 lbs.

Welcome to the Rocket family!

We lose 5 or 6 linemen after this year. We had better fill that position.

Remember a couple of the big guys can play on the defensive side of the ball. Over the years we've seen guys moved from one side to the other and back. The game is won in the trenches, and you can not have enough quality big men.

Plus, we may have a few de-commit before signing day. Things have changed a ton over the years. I think many kids commit early to hold a spot, but will bolt as soon as what they perceive is a better offer comes along.

Terry is absolutely right though...you can never have too many guys in the trenches. At the mid-major level, many OL recruits are signed due to their size and potential to develop....some develop as envisioned, others don't and eat up a scholly. Recruiting is a gamble...

Going to miss the o-linemen we are lossing and lost last year! Yes their parents are truly awesome! We will miss Todd and Amy Kerin a lot this year! Best of luck to Zac! The game is won in the trenches! Great players come from great families! Hope we get to hang with a few of these commits patents as we have had some of the present and past o-linemans parents.

It's been wonderful having good kickers for a few years. I hope we get some great ones to replace them. They make a huge difference in a game.

RE: 2015 Recruiting Thread
There is video online of Vest drillling it through the uprights from up to 62 yards out using a 1 inch tee. This guy has a real strong leg. Additionally he plays QB in high school so he can pass and throw much better than the normal kicker. That would make him a triple threat on field goal trys.
