Shams Charania: The Milwaukee Bucks won't sign guard D.J. Stephens to a second 10-day deal, sources tell RealGM. Stephens will scan NBA, overseas options. Twitter @ShamsCharania

Too bad for DJ. Hopefully he will perfect his niche and be able to stick on an NBA roster soon.

Apparently, his per minute production numbers were way too good for them.

Exactly. I'm not worried about him. With his work ethic he'll keep improving & stick somewhere. Grizz are too good for him, right now, but he'll land somewhere.

He'll get an invite to a camp. The season is almost over anyway. Show patience like big earl and just keep getting better.

No reason to sign him to a 10 day contract with only 6 games left. WOuldnt be shocked if he is on their summer league team.

I wish I could have seen him play in those two games. It's hard for me to fathom his production numbers being that good in his first game that they wouldn't re-up another 10 day. Especially given the production (or lack thereof ) they were getting from practically everyone else on the roster.

I'd like to see him get some quality run in the D League - they had several players called up this year and some who stuck

Now that he knows he has a legitimate shot at playing his way into the league I guess that he'll opt for the D League next year.
