Honestly, I would have thought any activity around here would be welcomed. Does this place even have a pulse?

you got me man. Some days I wonder, must be a football only board. So this Doucet, is this a recruit by the Tigers? Legit question, I have not kept up with football recruiting and pretty much never do. Got some info on him? I will have to watch the clip when I get home.

Yeah, he's the top WR prospect in Louisiana. (quite an athlete) I honestly doubt you'd be interested in my posting an article about him, but I'd be happy to if you really wanna see it.

saw the clip, pretty much said it all. Pretty good moves there. Looks small though for a prototype WR, though it may have been the film.

6'1" 205 lbs., 4.4 forty Not the tallest but certainly decent sized. His versatility and athleticism makes him a dangerous player.

then it was definitely the film. He should be able to make short work of some of the db's who are about the same height but weigh far less. Not bad. You think he will start as a freshman or do you see redshirt year coming up?

I'd have to put my money on him starting next year. Especially with the departure of Devery Henderson and Michael Clayton. With his abilities, it would be a shame for him not to see at least moderate playing time next year.

good point, with those two going, he will probably see playing time. Well I wish him luck on the next level.

I don't see why all the hype about Early. I live about 10 miles from St. Martinville and watched several of his games. Anytime he played against an average defense, he was ineffective. Teams easily shut him down, when he either played QB or at WR. It really showed when SMHS played Louisiana power house John Curtis in the quarterfinals this year. Early couldn't do anything against their defense. Even players had better stats than him in the district SMHS played in, yet because of that Miami camp he went to, he was voted 1st team All-District. I think he even made All-State. There are many players better than Early in the state of Louisiana.
