RE: Friday Practice Notes
I should point out that I do it from memory, it's not like I'm sitting there taking notes, so I get a detail wrong now and again. For example when I confused James Spencer and Jordan Huff. So take the details with a grain of salt but the overall sense of the scrimmage is correct from my point of view.

81, you're a better man than I am for sitting out in the cold for a practice. I don't even think I could do that.

+1. Why take notes if he has a photographic memory.

No way I could do that. Can't even remember what I had for breakfast this morning.

RE: Friday Practice Notes
Anyone know how Ducee Turner has been doing in practice? He was a pretty highly touted recruit last year and his highlight film looked really promising. Seems like he's caught in limbo between WR and RB.

I think main issue is
1. it's dekalb, not a lot of papers will send people out there to cover spring ball, when cubs, sox, bulls and blackhawks are playing
Except that HuskieWire did provide quality coverage with John Sahly (who seems like is on the career track to owning Shaw Media), Jeremy Werner, Ryan Wood, and I think there was one other great writer thrown in there as well. HW writers are like MAC Coaches, it's a launch pad and every once in a while you get a bad egg. I think we found it. Was mentioning this on Twitter with some people last August even.

Yes you were, and I was right there with you. The Mac coach analogy is apropos.

Opened this thread to ask the same. Would like to start hearing his name a bit more.

RE: Friday Practice Notes
Did anyone attend any of the practices/scrimmages this week? Just looking to see if there are any reports since we are not getting much from the Chronicle this year. Last week's was excellent.
