You are correct, IMO. I would stay away from that fried potato salad unless you like visiting your cardiologist.

Is Fatty's the only food available? If so, you could always get.....um....some hot dogs in the stadium.

The release says that the stadium will have limited concessions.

If its like last year they had 1 concession stand open and was serving hot dogs.

So....it's Fatty's or bust? I'd take the bust.

RE: Pup Club
FYI just got a response...

"With the new Pup Club, each membership comes with the opportunity to purchase tickets in the Pup Club Section (Section F, starting at row 31) to your chosen game at $14/ticket."

"We recognize that the change may separate season ticket holders and their Pup Club members. Hopefully the ability to purchase additional tickets for family and/or friends in the Pup Club Section helps in the transition to the new Pup Club format."

RE: Pup Club
It don't understand why they just didn't include the pup club membership with the regular season ticket now that we have to pay the full adult price for them.

If I cant have the pup club seats next to my season tickets then there is very little reason for me to sign them up.

I think it'd be best to just move Pup Club to the East Side. Easier to coordinate seating with the kiddos and maybe let em go to 2 games at $10 a pop.

Uh...I'm not so sure - as a parent - I would have wanted my little ones sitting on the east side anywhere in the vicinity of any students. Language could be a real issue. Nobody watches their mouth around little kids & I don't know that I would want my 3,4 5, 6 yr old hearing the f bomb every other minute.

While this issue in particular doesn't affect me (my kids are all adults & are drinking at tailgating with me!) I'm not too crazy about the response HuskieJohn got. They realize this move separates the pup club kids from their parents, but hey, buy an extra couple of tickets for your friends and let THEM babysit your kids at the game. Really? This is just stupid if you ask me.

Pup Club
Why don't they just offer reduced price seating anywhere for kids in the Pup Club? Seniors and members of the Alumni Association already get a discount. Why not have discounted kids' season tickets and be done with it?

RE: Pup Club
At this point the pup club is really only a good deal for a casual fan who comes to one game per year...who would typically also have no clue that the program exists.

Really it's a $12 discount on a football game with free admission to the basketball games.

IMO they should just include the membership with the adult priced season ticket, have some kind of family pack in the old Huskieland area or just axe the program all together.

I could see that in the section furthest South if the students were not allowd to sit past the band.

Yeah, I get that. My "kids" aren't kids anymore but I understand your situation. I applaud you for taking them as just the game itself is 3 hours long and attention span is typically not strong with kids. I think baseball and basketball work a bit better.

I remember doing the Cougars & Flyers with the kids and typically after a few innings they would end up wanting to run around on the nearby "grassy berms" down the lines.

In all reality, I nominate the suit that's in charge of the Pup Club as the Village Idiot, is it really this hard to figure it out ?
