Nope. I didn't say that. I said, when Ga State was brought up at the time. "Your doing drugs" was the same comment.
But Valdosta is Division 2. If they move up to Division 1, at that time you can start tossing them in with all the other random Division 1 schools that people suggest for Sunbelt expansion.
If we're bringing back former members like VCU, can we have Charlotte and South Florida too? Maybe once Jacksonville* goes FBS, we can add WKU or UAB as #16.

Someday, there maybe another realignment involving the Eastern C-USA and Eastern Sun Belt as a rebranded Eastern Athletic Conference and the Western C-USA and Western Sun Belt as a rebranded conference. It'd make more geographic sense.

I think its in line with the magic power to make VCU add football ... indeed, may as well use that magic power to add UCF as a travel partner for South Florida. That would be on the theory that taking former FB-only MAC schools can be a good idea, you just have to be selective in which one you take.

The already have a great rivalry with ODU and have a good Basketball program.

Nope. You just lack an imagination and critical thinking skills so you result to name calling. I got the same comment when I mentioned Ga State as a potential new member. Grow up. Grow a pair. If you are scared just say you are scared of VCU.
Scared? VCU would be an excellent addition to the Sun Belt. But, they are a basketball school - and they are in a conference that is in line with their focus. Why would VCU want to move out of a conference that just received 6 bids to the NCAA tourney?
They have no desire to add football. So they have no reason/motivation to join the Sun Belt?

"Hey VCU, how would you like to leave the #6 rpi basketball for the #19 rpi basketball conference? Oh and we're going to need you to add a sport that's going to require you to increase your annual budget ~30% and that's not counting all the money you'll need for new facilities..."

The one true advantage Troy held, football, is currently barely an advantage. If the mighty men of Troy recapture their might, perhaps the discussion changes.
