WOW....very impressive UTEP.

With this kind of showing, this puts you guys on the same level as the elite programs out there. Hope you guys can continue to grow this fan support for womens basketball.

I have been wondering how much money UTEP has paid for the right to host these games and if UTEP has made a profit off of hosting. I know the parking garage was totally full for the last three games and the lines for concessions were crazy long. They ran out of just about everything when UTEP played Washington. If the fans would support the women at even half this rate I think it would generate enough revenue to pay for the cost of several other sports programs and fee up money for football and improvements to the Haskins Center and the Sun Bowl.

Congrat's UTEP. Take home the Trophy.

This just shows how starved El Paso is for a winner. It's there for the taking for our football and men's basketball teams.

In speaking about attendance. How are your schools doing in bringing in athletes from the other sports to the different games. Do you see athletes from football attending basketball games and vice versa and to other sports? I know here at UTEP it's rare to see other athletes at games.

I think it's a general trend for the most part to not cross-attend. I see MT's basketball teams do it more so than usual, but otherwise, not much.

I always see the men basketball players at the women's games and vice versa. Not sure about the football players.

The UTEP athletes are encouraged to go support the other programs. A couple of weeks ago the football team had kids from big brothers program on campus and they took them to the UTEP women's tennis match. There were about 15 football players and another 15 kids. It was really cool and the tennis team enjoyed the support.

Tevin Caldwell was at the game last night. I saw basketball players at the football games as well.

I read somewhere that it was 20K to the WNIT plus a percentage of ticket sales... Surely UTEP is making some decent cash out of these games.

Did you stay for the barbeque (cookout) that the UTEP Miner Fan Club puts on for the kids and football team? Last time we ran out of wieners as we didn't anticipate that many but still everyone got fed. The real late comers were the ones that lost out.
