The game was great. The ending not so much. The crowd was the loudest I have heard the Haskins Center. I am proud of the women, UTEP and El Paso.

I know I am only feeding the craziness but the power of a good ole aac pep rally can not and will not be contained to the aac board. You would have to be confident and secure about your conference to stay on your board. No, the aac pep rallies must take their show on the road to the CUSA board!

They had a poll on that board the other day... 28% of them believe that in the next tv contract negotiation they will get between 10 and 20 million per team

the other 72% thinks they'll get between 5-10 million

you'd think after the last embarrassment they went through and all the crow they had to eat surrounding their tv contract, they'd be a little less conspicuous this time around. I guess some of their fans have no shame, that's why we gotta be reading all their "RARARA" crap over here.

If that is the case, then Posters should separate themselves from the CUSA board too.

The AAC did well in bball (Lville leaving, and UConn waiting), but it is not, nor will it be, considered a P5.
The MWC is about even.

Now AAC posters can defend their conference on THEIR board.

Since this is a women's hoop thread, I will constrain my comments to AAC women's basketball. That conference will be a mid-major conference any way you slice it next year. UConn will dominate and be a top-5 RPI team, but the AAC won't have another team in the top-50 RPI and may not have a team in the top-75. C-USA will be a stronger conference top to bottom next year.

Have you noticed how few players he lets on the floor and how little he subs? If that is any indication, and it usually is. Uconn may not stay atop for much longer. IF other coaches are smart they will hammer him recruiting the say way they have hammered this league.
