O'boy, That's a fantastic get.....Coaches with a lot of enthusiasm ans passion. And he will get the recruits to play in his system. Watchout, because he is determined and may not have many more chances such as this! I am happy for our conference..And happy that this University wants to make an impact...WOw, this conference is exciting!

Sampson becomes the third coach in NCAA history to get a Show Cause Penalty (5 years) and get another NCAA head coaching job. Pearl was the 2nd one earlier this year.

Todd Bozeman, former Cal coach and current Morgan State coach. He paid a players parents. Pearl was the only coach to get a new job while under a current show cause penalty. Funny too that the NCAA investigator that investigated Pearl is now the compliance guy at Auburn.

This is great for the league. If he cannot get Houston on track they should shut that program down. It makes no sense that they have been bad for so long.

They'll probably shut the program down alright but it'll be Sampson's doing. As long as there are cell phones and text messaging, Sampson will get into trouble. Of course I'm sure he thinks he's got it figured out how not to get caught.

Great for the conference --- nice recruiting base for a guy who can recruit.

I am sure that there will be another one to break.

All coaches push the limits, some have friends in the right places to protect them, some have enemies is places that will get them in hot water. Get the idea?
