SMU in the NIT Championship Game
SMU beat Clemson last night. They will play Minnesota on Thursday in the championship game.

The AAC has teams in the Men's and Women's Final 4, both UConn and teams in the Men's and Women's NIT, SMU and Rutgers.

They might be following the formula Memphis took to being a perennial in the NCAA tournament.

Last night was crazy, trying to watch SMU, the Mavericks game went down to the wire and the Texas Rangers won late in their game, lots of channel surfing last night.

Like I noted earlier, if UConn wins the NCAA's and SMU the NIT, then the NIT champ would have swept the NCAA champ in the regular season.

I moved and Uverse cant hook up my cable till April 30th. Moved the day before the NCAA started. CBS games and that's it.

On the plus side, I'm getting a lot of reading done . . .

Perhaps if that happens SMU should offer them a rematch as an NIT vs NCAA winner take all...

No doubt. Favorite line last night was "You don't play defense with your hands. You play it with your feet."

His ongoing rap was great. He was even calling the Free throws as they left the hands---calling them wrong sometimes, but that didn't stop him. That guy loves BB.

They should go with a cage match. Make it really mean something.

Same here. I was flipping through the channels around 7 and just happen to look at the info, saw that it was the MST3K guys and we watched for the next three hours. My 14 year old daughter discovered MST3K around two years ago on youtube, I found them on Netflix and we watched one together and she was hooked so we have been watching all the old shows. I got to see several that I had missed the first time around.
