Walked the bases loaded. How about a wild pitch now for UT's 3rd gifted run?

Trevor gets out of the inning with a ground out, but...it's hard to play defense when your pitchers can't find the strike zone. Come on, guys-- snap out of your collective coma.

Cook grounded out.
Ewing infield pop.
McDowell walks. Nice AB...but two outs.
Hoelscher walked at 3-2 pitch. Runners on 1B and 2B, two outs. Be patient here, Michael-- make it be a strike.
Aquino first pitch tap back to the mound. Good grief.

Down 0-2 heading to the top of the fifth inning.

1st pitch swing yields a weak grounder back to the mound.

Nice work by Teykl for a drama-free half inning.

RE: Texas at Rice (Tuesday Night Game)
Quick 1-2-3 inning (strikeoutKK, fly, pop). We now need to the offense ths how some signs of life.

Teykl leadoff walk. Great start. Schiraldi is really struggling now with his control. Let's make him work!
Stainback not bunting??? I just don't get it....but lined a single to the opposite field! Runner on 1B and 2B, no outs. Gotta bunt here...
Warren fouls off first bunt. Come on! Even Jimmy Baseball is telling him to square around early...fouls off 2nd bunt...and once again we fail to execute. What are we-- 0 for the last 7 bunt attempts now. Inexcusable. Line drive double play...and once again our inability to get the bunt down kills us. Sure, warren hit that hard, BUT you've got to get the bunt down. We are playing extremely poor fundamental baseball.
Fox pinch hitting for Taylor-- who's going to play 2B? RBI single up the middle (despite Connor falling down rounding 3B)! 02-13-banana Should have been a tied up game if we learned how to bunt.
Cook robbed with a great, sliding OF catch. UT getting all the breaks, but Rice continues to kill offensive rallies.

Down 1-2 heading to the top of the sixth inning.
