We played on Friday night last year and were one of several games that night. This will be the only game on Wed Night.

App has never lost on the U. 6-0. Has won the last three against Georgia Southern. Would not want you having any wrecks.

This will be the first game in the history of the series with Instant Replay. It'll be interesting to see what happens. I'm not going to sit here and blame the refs, but there have been plays that should have gotten a second look.

Yea, we probably would have won 5 or 6 in a row with replay! 03-nerner

Quick was out. Price was out. End of story.

Quick...maybe. Price was definitely in from a photo I saw. It was close but he had green between his foot and the line. Either way...

4 in a row baby!

This was already posted in this thread, but since you brought up the picture in question....

Are you seriously telling me that Price is inbounds? Half of his foot is in the green, the other half in the white.

I'm about to find the picture of your QB being sacked in the end zone for what should have been a safety. Losing that game was our fault (0-3 kicking FG's), but those plays definitely changed the game.

One of our fans was near that end zone when Quick "made" that catch and took a picture of him as he was going to the ground. Definite bobble. No question about it.

I know the refs have made bad calls in our favor before, but none in recent memory that were as game-changing as those. IIRC, the very next play after the "safety" was a 50 yard bomb down the sideline.

Kidding. It was a touchdown when he caught it in the end zone. Your guy is just pushing him out.
May have been his second step, or even third, after all he already has
cradled the football down. As I recall it was a high catch.

If you're talking about the Price play, he still had a ways to go to get to the endzone there. I admit that he stayed inbounds. Maybe if there was another angle, you could prove different, but if he was out it was barely. It was a great play by him setup by a good block outside to disrupt our defenders.

If you're talking about Quick, rules dictate you maintain possession of the ball all the way down. He appeared to be bobbling on the ground after he caught it in the endzone, therefore he appeared to not have possession all the way. You cannot lose possession of the ball on the ground even in the endzone, the rule is different on passes than running the ball in (ie all you have to do is break the plane). It was a hell of an effort on his part, but it appeared to not be a catch.

RE: Thursday and Wednesday Sun Belt Games Announced
What is the biggest rivalry in the SBC? I will name the rivalries that I believe will be the top 3 over the next few years.

1- Louisiana vs UL Monroe Two very competitive programs both beginning to hit their stride.
2- Georgia Southern vs Georgia State I know its new but folks from Ga understand the importance of this one, North Ga vs South Ga there is already a huge high school rivalry there, Savannah vs Atlanta this is a huge! prison rivalry, country folk vs city ppl we all have relatives in both areas saying "I don't see how y'all can live like this"
3- Troy vs South Alabama I believe the same dynamics at play in the GA So vs GA ST rivalry will surface here as well, this game has recruiting must win all over it.

This what the SBC must continue to seek in expansion this is what will make the conference great. I can see Arkansas State vs Missouri State being epic battles if their added. Liberty vs. Appalachian State I see this as a battle of hard work vs money. Umass vs Idaho lol, Michael Jackson no really cares about us bowl.

Lol app state v geo south not on your list makes your prediction wrong, there's no killing the rivalry and it will always be a big one to both groups of fans

That was really cool and a classy showing by both teams and fanbases.

That's exactly what typically happens at Army home games.

They made the calls. Can see in each case why they called it the way they did. Whether right or not, that is part of the game. Got a feeling TV replay isn't going to give you all the calls you want either.

Hate to break it to you, but Eagle Creek is a drainage ditch. Guess we cannot always trust those low landers.

Your integrity? Obviously it wasn't the crApp fans who called the game but when we are discussing controversial calls (no controversy from my viewpoint) I'm certainly not going to listen to the spew from you all. The Price and Quick "catches" were equivalent to the safety.

You would bathe in Eagle Creek given the chance, don't lie.
