Actually no. The Nazi's were socialists and Hitler used many of the same tactics that Obama is using now.

I'm just going off of the context based on where it is. In Europe, the tip of the scale one way or the other is based on social stances rather than fiscal. Across the world, the word "socialist" even used by not particularly socialist groups. Here you can be pro-life, anti-immigration, pro-military, a good Christian, and anti-gay but as soon as you give an inkling that you may be for Universal Health, you're as RED as the USSR.
