They'll play South Dakota St. somewhere either Wednesday or Thursday. Will probably know where in 5 minutes or so.

30 minutes before tipoff, the only seats left were up in the rafters, the bad thing is that if we do happen to beat South Dakota State and advance to final, we wouldn't be able to host the championship game because of the Franklin Graham event on saturday and sunday. This is terrible

That game felt a lot closer than it was, and that's their style of play - you're never safe even with what you might think to be a comfortable margin. I think the key is taking it inside. We had something like a +15 free throw margin against them, shot mostly by our forwards - the plan was to attack their post players and it worked okay.

If UTEP makes them foul a lot, advantage Miners big time. UTEP has a strong core of post players so I think the Miners have the advantage there. They tend to also have really good shooting guards too, but UTEP does too and has great defenders. Hopefully the crowd is a factor and there is another UTEP win.

There is a line of about 100 people outside the ticket center this morning, a full hour before they open. I am sure the game against NDSU will be a sell out. The crowd was every bit as loud as any UTEP men's game I have been to in the Haskins Center over the last 35 years.
