Grrr..."Texas-San Antonio" I guess it wouldn't bother me if they called UTEP "Texas-El Paso" or UCLA "California-Los Angeles"

bonus question: how many replies before someone says the words "mashall", "road", and "championship game" in the same sentence?

Earlier in the article he uses UTSA but refers to us as Alabama-Birmingham. No consistent usage.

Paul is pretty solid. He does the best preseason countdown out there. Shoot him an email and Im sure he will correct the article if its not consistent.

As an ODU fan I would take that finish in a heartbeat.

Nice to see that USA Today agrees that Marshall is on the road to the 2014 conference championship game!

Pretty nice praise for La Tech considering the season they had. Strong recruiting and pedigree should make them a contender

Marshall should be there. Y'all have a perfect schedule to be able to swoop into that bowl tie-in for the non power leagues.

We're gonna spoil someone's championship hopes this year. Maybe it can be Marshall since they have to go on the road to Birmingham.

If Marshall is the favorite I feel pretty good about my Owls having a shot at the East title. We took them to the wire and should of won that game. Will be interesting to see how the new coach does in keeping the momentum going. All signs indicate that he has.
