If you want to look at it from a success:payroll ratio, STL is is high as it gets. 11 (should be 12) total WS. 2 WS since '06. 19 NL Pennants. 4 NL Pennants since '04. The A's do well but don't have anything to point to since their AL Pennant in '90.

Some teams have more fun in April than October.

Having once lived 10 minutes from their stadium (and attended quite a few games), I'm in all the way with the Tampa Bay Rays. I always have mixed feelings with Verlander pitches against them.

STL took important game one in Milwaukee. How about them A's, huh?

the Nats are looking just like last years team. ATL just owns us. while its fun to beat up on Miami and the Mets we got a 4 game series against STL this weekend that could get ugly. littered with injuries right now, too.

I was at tonight's game in Miami. Nats looked really bad.

sorry you had to see that. I turned it off when it was 0-6. I didn't think it needed to get worse than that, but it did.

I'll be at the Nat's game tomorrow to catch my Redbirds. Great start to the series!

the nats are a joke right now. some of those errors last night were comical. we looked like the houston astros from last year. I said before the series that 1-3 for the nats would be golden. now I just hope for a rain out and to ppd the game for a couple of months as the best case scenario.
