RE: AAC! AAC!

AAC wreckage throughout tourney. knocked off some really great teams and devastated rival confences hopes along the way.

Uconn- knocked off a-10 tourny champ, big east champ,b12 tourny champ, and BIG tourny champ. Florida is the sec tourny and reg season champ. Each game progressivly tougher conf champ

Record vs conferences
3-0 A-10
1-0 Big East
1-1 ACC
1-0BIG
1-0 B12
0-1 sec with a chance to draw even
0-1 Ivey

Idk where UConn would go, but there's no way UNC lets ECU stay in a conference with a very recent NCAAT winner (if they win)..the UNC alumn that heads the B1G or the ACC will start campaigning for UConn to join.

03-lmfao That's how I feel anyway.

Big 12, if the ACC won't give them full membership. Otherwise, UCONN will be a basketball only in the ACC with a football guarantee of a few games. UCONN can make so much more money with even their 3rd tier rights than this crappy TV contract delivers. Heck, even an A-10 Olympic sport membership and football independence would get them more TV money than $2 mil a year. 04-cheers

Funny how most posters on here puffing their chest about the AAC's and UConn's outstanding victory are from ECU and ECU is not even in the conference until July 1.

Will you even be in the AAC?

we will show what we got come August. Count on it... are you cinncy fan?

If so please go sit back in your corner, you lost in the first round... and if you are Just wait till ECU pounds the pulp out of your fb team come this fall.

Cinncy also, If you hate being here GTFO... like haha seriously... there is a reason no one wants you... maybe cause you choke... We love the American it gives us unprecedented exposure,a team full of high class caliber...

Uconn loves being in the AAC, they chant it...

Cinncy hasn't done **** and their AD is already wanting out... If you can't do anything here, what makes you think you can in the p5

Did you guys forget that UC was the only team to beat everyone in the American this season and a conference co-champion. Right now Cincinnati- UConn is the best basketball rivalry in the league. These teams have been going back and forth at high level for the last four to five years. Every time it looks like Cincinnati is going to pass the Huskies, UConn makes a late conference season run followed by a great tournament. UConn basketball is an elite brand that the ACC should have grabbed when they took Louisville. Right now the Bearcats and Huskies are by the far the best all sports brands in the league and its not even close.

hmmm well why dont cha just say so?

lol no i respect Cinncy, but having fans express their displeasure of being stuck here or your AD making public comments on getting out is not the way you should be behaving...

I promise you ECU is probably the most overlooked team in the country because of our State... There are 4 ACC schools who have time and time out shined us in everything we do... We finally get a break joining the AAC. We hate the CUSA, our fanbase and our teams were exhausted seeing teams like UAB and FAU on weekly basis.

Just give us 3 years in the AAC and ECU has been waiting for this opputunity for decades. The cameras, the espn exposure, the big team opponents...

btw Cinncy has nothing on UCF's and Uconn's accomplishments. ECU > UNC > Cinncy... this season... that's a bad logic but you guys need to be put where you belong atleast for this season.

The conference is growing everyday with exposure, do us a favor and stop bringing it down with asinine remarks... this is to your Fanbase and your admins at in your respective sports

I am actually very excited to see what ECU can do with the additional exposure. They could be a sleeping giant. The reality is a very good conference is forming and will be seen on the mothership for the next 6 years. Now is everyone's time to shine and the media deal will take care of itself.

ECU and their fans pride themselves on their "chip on the shoulder" and that will extend to our conference home. It behooves all involved to do the same. Take pride in where you hang your hat, at least until you move to a new one. Go Damn Huskies

RE: AAC! AAC!
I don't know why some automatically want to bring the conference down, but the fact is Uconn fans were reportedly chanting "AAC" during their big games last weekend. I didn't get to watch the games this weekend, but I'm pretty sure the Madison Square Garden was rocking with AAC chants, among others, since Uconn fans filled the building.

So while Uconn fans have gone all in on the AAC, and the conference is at its zenith, you'll always get some negative types.

If Aresco was smart, he'd print up thousands of AAC t shirts and give them out for free in Dallas where the Final Four is being held. Let Uconn fans showcase to the world the success of the AAC.

Temper the excitement buddy, we basically escaped the C-USA cellar dwellers to form the new league with the higher performing portion of C-USA, Tulane excepted, and a sprinkling of teams from the old Big East. Yeah, the league looks good thus far, but damn, we've been playing most of these teams for years and we've been playing "big team" opponents for years too. Relax, and give the Bearcats a break too, in basketball we aren't even close. And in football we're hopefully on par.

UConn fans (like fans of all AAC schools) should wear their school gear and promote their school first. No school has ever tried to win anything merely for the sake of their conference. UConn is trying to win this for UConn. If it helps the AAC, that is awesome! However, UConn needs to do it for the sake of UConn and not merely in the name of the conference.

That said, if Aresco can make shirts that prominently feature the UConn brand logo on them and have a smaller AAC secondary logo on them, then I could get behind that.
