Thank you, Arkansas!!!
We no longer have to hear about Jimmy's Jet or how the SEC should get 7 teams in the NCAA tournament. Also, a well placed apostrophe and an "s" in the coach's name will make some great t-shirts for Arkansas women's basketball.

Knowing Jimmy, it's him positioning for being the next AD and being home more with his wife and kids. Before getting so high at ESPN, he also was Shiloh Christain's AD and hired some Guy named Gus Malzahn.

I won't miss him at all. He had(s) his head so far up Cal's a$$ it's ridiculous. Dykes was about third on my no watch list, behind Dickie V. and that idiot that calls SEC games and always refers to the "banking board".

I think they are paying him $450,000 a year. Not too shabby. Never cared for him.

Wow, 450K for a non-revenue sport. Sheesh. He better turn it into a revenue sport pretty quick.

the former coach was paid slightly over $500K

so I would imagine Jimmy will get a package around $600K / year

just a guess though

Dykes use to criticize Memphis until after he made his "posse" comment. Calipari could have made a fuss and perhaps get Dykes fired. Instead, Cal wisely kept quiet and now owns Dykes.
