Houston scored 5 of their 6 runs with two outs in innings to take a 6-3 win and tie the series 1-1

What has been going on with the team. Last I recall they were like 12-1 and on the verge of being ranked with some big wins. I look yesterday and they have been struggling lately loosing several games including series losses to SLU and Temple.

Errors have been a large part of it. Yesterday was one of the few losses that did not include a bunch of errors. Not swinging the bat on a consistent basis also. Starting pitching has been pretty solid. But yesterday it was not being able to get the final out in an inning.

Really need to take 2 out of 3 from this team.

I believe they are five games over 500 now. I still don't believe Rock is the right coach for the Tigers. Got to have some elite talent to compete and get into the NCAA. Five years and still waiting. No excuses on facilities now with Fed Ex Park. Got to find away to keep SEC talent at home.

SOS today 3 errors cost Tigers in 6-2 loss.

5-10 after beating OM in Oxford. Most of the losses due to errors.

Have you ever seen the baseball stadiums in Starkville and Oxford and the size of their crowds? Or compared their statewide baseball radio networks to our single station (FM 91.7)? In spite of their substantial advantages, Coach Rock has been more than holding his own against Ole Miss and State. When our "fans" become half as good at attending games ($5 is a heck of a bargain) as they are at criticizing our coach, there is no telling what Tiger baseball will achieve. Fact is, we already have several impressive wins over ranked teams this year with plenty of games left to play in a very challenging conference. Please come out and see what you are missing (and bring someone with you who has never been to the Park Ave campus). Tons of potential for glory and I wouldn't trade our coach for any that I know of.

Baseball generally tends to be like that. We are above .500 with several impressive wins and very few bad losses.
