Could this transfer be a good fit?
Sorry if pope, didn't see it anywhere. Kevin Ware transferring from Louisville. He has a year of eligibility left.

RE: Could this transfer be a good fit?
I like the guy, but I don't think he'd be a good fit here. He was a bench player at UL, and I'm not sure his leg will ever be 100% healthy. I'd rather have more minutes go to our young guards to develop them.

I do wish Kevin the best, though. Hopefully he'll get as much playing time as he wants wherever he ends up, and most importantly, I hope he doesn't re-injure himself.

His problem now is between his ears. That's from Pitino.

I honestly would rather not get a transfer and save the scholarship. Let the freshman get the mins, so they will get their legs under them. This will be better in the long run. IMO

Let our young players spend a year gaining experience. That's the most important thing. Not a transfer that will play 10 minutes a game at most.

And he will get the same number out of HS as he did at Tennessee.

Kobe Bryant will have to OK any move made by the Lakers front office.

RE: Could this transfer be a good fit?
Ware was clocked doing 95mph in a construction zone while driving a Louisville’s alum’s car which is an NCAA infraction. On top of that he missed his court date. Supposedly Pitino suspended him but he was already out with rehab so it wasn’t like he actually missed any games. Apparently this satisfied the NCAA but not Pitino.

I think I would pass on Ware.

Oh. So is Pearl building a new fence around Memphis or is he using the one that Ed Orgeron used at Ole Miss?

The one Orgeron used was actually pretty damn good. Had a tough time as a head coach, but Nutt walked into a lot of talent.
