They were right at that time, UK was playing terrible and basically looked disorganized. They were indeed hanging in the top 25 for no apparent reason other than that they were Kentucky. They have played much better to close out the season

Watching his teams win and go far into tourney after tourney is just too depressing. They go far while we linger, watching from the stands. Memphis is too big a basketball city with far too much local talent to settle year after year for this mediocrity.

Can't this same argument be used for UT?

In the NTR forum y'all said ut was still garbage because Memphis beat them months ago....conflicting statement, ya?

I would say that after two butt drillings at the hand of Arkansas, they were overrated.

Elite 8

He still can't coach. He has learned to use his ******* timeouts though.

And if he was standing on the baseline clapping his hands, he'd be out of the coach's box....and he'd still be a sleazy SOB.

RE: John Calipari....
You do know this actually is a testament to his coaching while the same time a testament to josh's inability given he's been in the main tourney 5 yrs runningand still hasn't advanced to the rnd of 16.

NIT to elite 8 vs 5 consecutive early exits. Yep, inadvertent thumbs up there friend.

Cal is the MASTER motivator and player "Mental" developer....The weak minded twins playing like young men now...they are winning the NC...IF WCS COMES BACK!

Not like our testimonial giving coach who motivates by talking about himself...BUT CJP by his own admission is NOT a rah-rah coach...doesn't believe in that...that is why the players don't respond to him.

Cal has dominated College Basketball for past 9 years.

"Cal" is a L I A R.

So it really doesn't matter what else he is or what he "dominates."

100% agree. Cal's advertised "tweek" was more about instilling confidence in his fragile players that were falling apart mentally. We needed it even worse after 20 point losses to Cincy and Uconn. We didn't believe in ourselves going into the Virginia game. Josh had no idea how to tweek the kids mentality

He's put Kentucky back on top and he really has dominated college basketball for the last 9 years. Say what you want about him but he's a winner and a helluva coach. Without him we would not know who Josh Pastner was. That ought to get your attention.
